THE BOOMERANG CHARACTER OF ALL ACTION

Any action is bound to react upon one with equal force and effect. If you do some good to another man, you are really helping yourself; because, there is nothing else besides the one all-pervading Self and Power. Your virtuous actions will react upon you with the good effects. They bring you joy and happiness. Your wrong, unjust actions will react upon you with bad, miserable effects. They will bring you sorrow, grief and affliction. Therefore, always live to do good to others. Be kind to all. Never hurt others.

RESULTS OF TRIALS

Trial is a crucible into which nature throws a man whenever she wants to mould him into a sublime Superman. There can be no strength, no success, without suffering. Every suffering is meant for one's uplift and development. It augments the power of endurance, mercy, faith in God and removes egoism. Understand this and develop inner strength.

DIWALI....10 REASONS TO CELEBRATE

1.Goddess Lakshmi’s Birthday: The Goddess of wealth, Lakshmi incarnated on the new moon day (amaavasyaa) of the Kartik month during the churning of the ocean (samudra-manthan), hence the association of Diwali with Lakshmi.
2. Vishnu Rescued Lakshmi: On this very day (Diwali day), Lord Vishnu in his fifth incarnation as Vaman-avtaara rescued Lakshmi from the prison of King Bali and this is another reason of worshipping Ma Larkshmi on Diwali.
3. Krishna Killed Narakaasur: On the day preceding Diwali, Lord Krishna killed the demon king Narakaasur and rescued 16,000 women from his captivity. The celebration of this freedom went on for two days including the Diwali day as a victory festival.
4. The Return of the Pandavas: According to the great epic ‘Mahabharata’, it was ‘Kartik Amavashya’ when the Pandavas appeared from their 12 years of banishment as a result of their defeat in the hands of the Kauravas at the game of dice (gambling). The subjects who loved the Pandavas celebrated the day by lighting the earthen lamps.
5. The Victory of Rama: According to the epic ‘Ramayana’, it was the new moon day of Kartik when Lord Ram, Ma Sita and Lakshman returned to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravana and conquering Lanka. The citizens of Ayodhya decorated the entire city with the earthen lamps and illuminated it like never before.
6. Coronation of Vikramaditya: One of the greatest Hindu King Vikramaditya was coroneted on the Diwali day, hence Diwali became a historical
7. Special Day for the Arya Samaj: It was the new moon day of Kartik (Diwali day) when Maharshi Dayananda, one of the greatest reformers of Hinduism and the founder of Arya Samaj attained his nirvana.
8. Special Day for the Jains: Mahavir Tirthankar, considered to be the founder of modern Jainism also attained his nirvana on Diwali day.
9. Special Day for the Sikhs: The third Sikh Guru Amar Das institutionalized Diwali as a Red-Letter Day when all Sikhs would gather to receive the Gurus blessings. In 1577, the foundation stone of the Golden Temple at Amritsar was laid on Diwali. In 1619, the sixth Sikh Guru Hargobind, who was held by the Mughal Emperor Jahengir, was released from the Gwalior fort along with 52 kings.
10. The Pope’s Diwali Speech: In 1999, Pope John Paul II performed a special Eucharist in an Indian church where the altar was decorated with Diwali lamps, the Pope had a ‘tilak’ marked on his forehead and his speech was bristled with references to the festival of light.

SHIVA AND LOVE

"God cannot seperate Himself from us. This is because God is our Life."

"Our energy and God's energy are the same."

"We are inwardly already one with God."

"All motion begins in God and ends in God."

"God Shiva is Love: both immanent and transcendent, both the creator and the creation."

"God is both manifest and unmanifest, dual and nondual, within us and outside of us."

"God Shiva is all and in all, one without a second, the Supreme Being and only Absolute Reality."

"We are all beautiful children of God."

"God is the Life of our life."

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

MY PRAYERS TO YOU MY LORD

This is my prayer to thee, my lord- strike, strike at the root of penury in my heart. Give me the strength lightly to bear my joys and sorrows. Give me the strength to make my love fruitful in service. Give me the strength never to disown the poor or bend my knees before insolent might- Give me the strength to raise my mind high above daily trifle. And give me the strength to surrender

Where the mind is without fear

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up
into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason
has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action-
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

PRIDE,ARROGANCE,CONCEIT,ANGER,HARSHNESS AND IGNORANCE----

THESE QUALITIES BELONG TO THOSE OF DEMONIAC NATURE.

THESE DEMONIAC QUALITIES MAKE FOR BONDAGE.

HABIT OF DILLY DALLYING

Some aspirants have got a habit of wandering aimlessly. They cannot stick to one place even for a week. The wandering habit must be checked. They want to see new places, new faces and want to talk with new people. A rolling stone gathers no moss. A Sadhak should stick to one place at least for a period of twelve years (one Tapas period). Sadhana suffers if one wanders constantly. Those who want to do rigorous Tapas or Sadhana and study must stay in one place. Too much walking produces weakness and fatigue.

THE CORE OF CONSCIOUS SPIRITUAL EFFORT

So vehement, self-assertive and rebellious is the egoistic self of man that it refuses to be changed from its vicious state to state of virtue, goodness and saintliness. It is a great blunder to think that the mere act of renunciation is a sufficient achievement in the spiritual life. The eradication of egoism in all its aggressive forms comprises the very core of spirituality and all spiritual Sadhanas.

WORRIES AND PEACE

Each time a swarm of worries invades your mind, refuse to be effected: wait calmly, while seeking the remedy. Spray the worries with the powerful chemical of your peace.

FIRST THINGS FIRST

Any number of zeroes have no intrinsic value unless number 1 (one) is added before them. Even so the wealth of the three worlds is nothing if you do not try to acquire spiritual wealth, if you do not strive for Self-realisation. Therefore live in the soul or the Self within. Add the Divine to the Life here. Seek first the Lord within: He is the fountain Source of Divine Riches, Power and Beauty.

LETTERS TO GOD

A FEW DAYS BACK I HAD SENT YOU A “ LETTER FROM GOD “ BUT TODAY I AM SENDING YOU ” LETTERS TO GOD” WRITTEN BY CHILDREN:

Who draws the lines around the countries ?
Did you mean for the giraffe to look like that or was it an accident ?
Instead of letting people die and having to make new ones, why don’t you keep the ones you have now.
Thank you for my baby brother, but what I had prayed for was a puppy.
If we come back as something, please don’t let me be Jennifer Horton, because I hate her.
I think about you sometimes, even when I am not praying.
I bet it is very hard for you to love all the people in the World. There are only four people in our family and I can never do it.
If you watch me in church Sunday, I’ll show you my new shoes.
We read Thomas Edison made light. But in Sunday school, we learned that You did it. So I bet he stole your idea.
I do not think anybody could be a better GOD. Well, I just want you to know that I am not just saying because you are GOD already.
I didn’t think orange went with purple until I saw the sunset you made on Tuesday. That was cool!
May be Cain and Abel would not kill each other if they had their own rooms. It works with my brother.
Look after yourself we love you very much.

LETTER FROM GOD

As you got up this morning, I watched you, and hoped you would talk to me ,even if just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for something good that happened in your life yesterday. But you were too busy, trying to find the right outfit to wear.

When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew there would be a few minutes for you to stop and say hello, but you were so busy to do so…….At one point for 15 minutes you had nothing to do—but you ran to phone and called a friend to get the latest gossip..

I noticed that before lunch you looked around, and I thought may be you felt embarrassed to talk to me, that is why you didn’t bow your head. You glanced three or four tables over and you noticed some of your friends talking to me briefly before they ate, but you didn’t. But there is still more time left, and I hope that you will talk to me yet.

You went home and after a few chores you turned on the television set. I waited patiently again as you watched TV and ate your meal, but again you didn’t talk to me. Bedtime I guess you felt too tired. After you said good night to your family you got into the bed and promptly fell asleep…You know, I’ve got patience, more than you will ever know.

I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer or thought. It is hard to have a one sided “conversation”. Well, you are getting up once again. And once again I will wait, with nothing but love for you.
Hoping that today you will give me some time. Have a nice day.

FORGIVENESS

Subvert anger by forgiveness.

Where there is forgiveness, there is GOD himself.

There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness.

Good to forgive, and best to forget.

Through training there is knowledge. You can produce compassion, love and forgiveness. You can change yourself.

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

We can do some of the above but not all. Can we ?

THE CONQUEST OF HAPPINESS

Do not jeer at any one.
Do not frown at anybody.
Restrain all your senses.
Be cheerful always.
Do not look back;
make steady progress on the path of goodness.
Divest yourself of all desire and wrath.
Cast off pride.
Turn your gaze inwards.
Contemplate.
You will enjoy true happiness.

CHANTING MANTRAS CAN TRANSFORM LIFE

Many people laugh at others for chanting names. The jnana yogi uses his intelligence to realize his ultimate nature, but they have disdain for all other systems. They Laugh at bhaktas and make fun of kriya yogis and karam yogis.

Once a jnana yogi went to Lord Shiva and said, All your Bhaktas keep chanting mantras and doing nothing but adding to the noise pollution just by chanting mantras. what will they get,. Why don’t you tell them to stop?.

Pointing to a worm crawling on the floor, Shiva said, “Just go close to the worm and utter Shiv Shambu.” The jnana yogi did what he was asked to do and when he uttered Shiv Shambu. The worm died immediately. What is this I just said the mantra and the worm died?

Shiva smiled and pointed at a butterfly and asked the jnana yogi to do the same and when he did so the butterfly died immediately. The jnana yogi was stunned and said if the mantra can kill why do they recite mantras?.

At this Lord shiva smiled and pointing at a deer, He asked the yogi to say Shiv Shambu near the deer and doing so the deer too died.

Then a mother came with a child in her lap and again Shiva asked the jnana yogi to utter Shiv Shambu near the child, at which he refused and said he does not want to kill the child. But Shiva asked him to do so, and when he uttered Shiva Shambu the child woke up and said, I was just a worm, with one mantra you made me a butterfly and then you made me deer and again with the third mantra you made me a human being. Please utter the mantra once again and I want to attain divinity.

EMPIRICAL SOURCES OF BLESSEDNESS

Eat sparingly, breathe deeply, talk kindly, work energetically, bathe thoroughly and have a long life. Cultivate a melting heart, the giving hand, the kindly speech, the life of service, equal vision and impartial attitude. Your life will indeed be blessed.

Out of pain comes the philosophy of "Who am I?"; out of suffering comes endurance; out of service a pure, compassionate heart; out of adversity the strength of will; out of faith the final beatitude; and out of meditation oneness with the Infinite.

PEACE OF MIND

Don’t grieve at the unkind words of the world. Is it possible to please the people? There are so many tongues, so many talks, so many opinions, so many remarks. This world is a strange mixture of the forces of sattva, rajas and tamas. Tamasic people are in abundance; and, it is their second nature to find fault and pronounce unnecessary criticism. They experience the world through their primitive emotions; their judgement is prejudiced; their natures are small; they are a prey to the sins of sense and perversions of will; they are more governed by ignorance and egoism then by intelligence and light. Therefore, follow the dictates of your own conscience and the promptings of your soul. If you are satisfied, the whole world must be satisfied.

The Experience of Peace

Peace is within. Search for peace within the chambers of your own heart, through one-pointed concentration and meditation. If you do not find peace there, you will not find it anywhere else. All unhealthy desires cause distractions of various kinds, and are therefore enemies of peace. Give up all cravings, egoism and unnatural longings. The man who is endowed with supreme faith in the Divine Principle of God and who has mastery over his senses quickly gets the Highest Peace. The one aim of life is the attainment of peace and not achievement of power, name, fame and wealth.

How To Meditate

Meditation increases the ability to concentrate and enhance memory power. It brings in a sense of inner peace and tranquility, and makes you appealing in nature. Meditation is also thought to tap the hidden potentials of an individual.
Difficulty Level: Hard Time Required: 10 - 30 minutes
________________________________________

Here's How:
1. Find some time out of your daily schedule.
2. Find a quiet place and sit down.
3. Be comfortable. Relax.
4. Keep the face serene. Chin up.
5. Close your eyes slowly to experience a void darkness. ( Remember to keep your eyelids closed throughout the following steps)
6. Look into your eyelids as if seeing with your eyelids open.
7. Keep your mind empty of people, place, things, color or any form.
8. Try and concentrate on the center of your forehead.
9. If thoughts arise, bypass them and keep looking with your eyelids closed, going deeper and deeper, leaving form, name, color, and activities far behind you.
10. Experience the motion of going, as if driving in a car, and you'll be going deeper and deeper - beyond the body and senses.
11. As you go deeper and deeper with your eyes closed in this dark place, you may see the swirling of smoke-like colours flickering in the darkness and silvery flashes of light.
12. Look straight in front with your eyelids closed and keep going further and further.
13. To keep you alert in meditation, take slow deep breaths. Colors will swirl and change pattern rising with each breath.
14. Keep breathing steady. Let thoughts come and go. You're on a journey going beyond the body and form.
15. After you feel totally calm and relaxed, gradually open your eyes and spring back to life with renewed energy.

Tips:
1. Do not sit for meditation with workload on your mind.
2. Wear simple, loose clothes, preferably white in color.
3. If concentrating on 'nothing' seems difficult, try concentrating on your breathing. Another way to concentrate is by uttering the sacred syllable "Om" loudly, which helps arrest your thoughts as it resonates through your body.

WHERE THERE IS BEAUTY

Where there is beauty, there is ugliness. When something is right, something else is wrong. Knowledge and ignorance depend on each other. It has been like this since the beginning. How could it be otherwise now? Wanting to toss out one and hold onto the other makes for a ridiculous comedy. You must still deal with everything ever-changing, even when you say it's wonderful.

WHY DO WE SUFFER

God or His Name is the sole strength in living against all odds and uncertainties. If one is not at cross purposes with Him, one finds His manifestation in every happening. But, one has to bear with patience the onrush of the forces one has let loose. Yoke yourself unto Him and He will bear the brunt.

Take refuge in none but Him. Dependence on Him makes one fearless. Human beings will enjoy three-fourths of life and one-fourth they will suffer. But, we lose our patience and do not accept even that one-fourth of sorrows given by Him.

Don't be obsessed with any wish. Shake off sadness. Unhappiness is part of the ego. Beyond it, no such thing exists. That you have forgotten Truth (that God is within) is the root cause of your misery.

TAKE TIME

Take time to think...
it is the source of power.
Take time to play...
it is the secret of perpetual youth.
Take time to read...
it is the fountain of wisdom.
Take time to pray...
it is the greatest power on earth.
Take time to love and be loved...
it is a God-given privilege.
Take time to be friendly...
it is the road to happiness.
Take time to laugh...
it is the music of the soul.
Take time to give...
it is too short a day to be selfish.
Take time to work...
it is the price of success.
Take time to do charity...
it is the key to fulfillment.

MERE SAI

Woh shehar ajeeb saa lagtaa hain

Woh mandeer soona lagtaa hai
Jahan teri pooja naheen,
Woh galee khaamosh lagtee hai
Jahan teraa koyee nishaan nahin,

Jahan teraa koyi zikr nahin.

Strange is to see a town where there isn't Your temple
And those places are empty where there is no worship of You !
The street where there isn't Your sign is so silent
And the gathering of those feel barren without the remembrance of You !

GOOD THOUGHTS FOR ALL TIMES

When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy and to live.

Regardless of how much trouble you are having, how hard the going seems to be, keep your thoughts on a high and positive level.

Prayers opens your heart until it is enough to hold and keep God.

The ultimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

God is like us to this extent, that whatever in us is good is like God.

Do not say anything harsh, what you have said will be said back to you.

GREAT THOUGHTS TWO

Life is so short that it must be lived slowly. Slowing down can mean you look at things calmly. Don’t fly of the handle.
You can try mini-meditation while the phone is on hold. Practice yielding and you will be amazed to see how relaxed you feel and how much more efficient in life you become.
Sink a little and do some abdominal breathing when stuck in a line at the bank or waiting anywhere. It will do good to your digestive system.
Life is simple----normally you live, learn, seek happiness and love, you grow old, and you die. Live and act simply and truthfully. Get out of your own way, and you’ll find all your problems begin to resolve themselves.
There is nothing in our power; when you have done your best; leave it upto HIM, HE knows best when it is to be done.

Jaisa pani vaisi Vani so be careful where you eat or drink.

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, some one could destroy overnight; build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness they may be jealous; be happy anyway.
The good you do today people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and GOD; it was never between you and them anyway.

Where there is pain, I wish you peace and mercy. Where there is self doubt, I wish you a renewed confidence in your ability to work through it. Where there is exhaustion, I wish you understanding, patience and renewed strength. Where there is fear, I wish you love and Courage.

FOR MY GRANDSONS

GREAT THOUGHTS

Be mindful of me,and I will be mindful of you.

The world basically and fundamentally is constituted on the basis of harmony. Everything works in cooperation with something else.

It is probably not love that makes the world go around, but rather those mutually supportive alliances through which partners recognize their dependence on each other for the achievement of shared and private goals.

Let’s face it. In most of life we really are interdependent. We need each other. Staunch independence is an illusion, but heavy dependence isn’t healthy, either. The only position of long term strength is interdependence.

Union gives strength.

The brotherhood of man is evoked by particular men according to their circumstances. But it seldom extends to all men. In the name of freedom and brotherhood we are prepared to blow up the other half of the world and be blown up in our turn.

By perseverance the snail reached the Ark.

God is with those who persevere.Acquire a firm will and the utmost patience.

The galleries are full of critics. They play no ball, they fight no fights, they make no mistakes because they attempt nothing. Down in the arena are the doers. They make mistakes because they try many things. The man who makes no mistakes lacks boldness and the spirit of adventure. He is the one who never tries anything. He is the brake on the wheel of progress and yet it cannot be truly said he makes no mistakes, because his biggest mistake is the very fact that he tries nothing, and does nothing except criticize those who do things.

The real purpose of work is not to satisfy selfish desires. For, if that had been so, GOD would not have worked for the good of the world. Man has to go beyond the sense of “I” and “mine” and replace it with “we” and “ours”.

WHEN GOD IS SILENT

Rise and pray every day: "Again today, dear God, I commit and trust my life and way to you. I'm available. Please use me to be as Jesus to every life I touch."
"Don't sweat the small stuff."
Remember these simple sentences: "I was wrong." "I am sorry." "Please forgive me." "Thank you." Say them whenever needed and say "I love you" often—whether needed or not.
Come apart and rest a while before you come apart—stress is a killer.
Remember, "Nothing changes if nothing changes."
Don't nurse grudges: "Failing to forgive is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die."
Carpe diem. Seize the day. "Opportunity comes to pass—not to pause."
Quit the blame-game—"it's choice, not chance, that determines destiny."
Control your thinking or your thinking will control you. "What the mind dwells on the body acts on."
Invest your life in a worthwhile cause by having a noble purpose for which to live—a purpose that is bigger than yourself for which to live—one that will help make your world a better place in which to live.
Be a positive realist. You will always see what you are looking for: "Two men look out the same prison bars. One sees mud, the other stars."
The greatest abilities are availability, dependability and responsibility.
"There is no pillow as soft as a clear conscience."
"Smooth seas never make skillful sailors."
When God is silent. "I believe in the sun even when it isn't shining. I believe in love even when I am alone. I believe in God even when he is silent."
Cry when needed. "Every unshed tear is a prism through which all of life's hurts are distorted."
Laugh a lot. It's still the best medicine.
Remember, "The bumps are what we climb on."
Fear not. At least 95 percent of the things we fear never happen. Trust God for the other five percent.
Have faith and put God first with your time, talents, and tithe.
"Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun".

SILENCE

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

Silence is the true friend that never betrays.

In this vastness there is place for space and much more.

In this eternity there is place for time and the chimes of its measure.

In the depth of the deep there is space for the light to enter but not the door to escape.

In the roaming mind, there is space for the quietude by the tapas of fortitude.

In the emerald blue silence there is space for awareful existence of the fullness of ananda.

In the awareness there is melody of the music of the spheres pulsating with cosmic life---heard only in silence.

In consciousness, you and I are nowhere or everywhere vibrant in the soft whisper of the fathomless silence.

Silence is one of the hardest arguments to refute.

In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

I have often regretted my speech, never my silence.

SOME TRUTHS ABOUT LIFE

ADVICE IS WHAT WE ASK FOR WHEN WE ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER BUT WISH WE DIDN’T.

IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO YOU LOVE,OR HOW YOU LOVE,BUT THAT YOU LOVE.

DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT GROWING OLD—MANY,MANY PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THAT PRIVILEGE.

LOVE IS A MATTER OF CHEMISTRY,BUT SEX IS A MATTER OF PHYSICS.

EVERY CHILD IS AN ARTIST.THE PROBLEM IS HOW TO REMAIN AN ARTIST ONCE HE GROWS UP.

A FOOL IN LOVE MAKES NO SENSE TO ME. I ONLY THINK YOU ARE A FOOL IF YOU DO NOT LOVE.

I’M TIRED OF ALL THIS NONSENSE ABOUT BEAUTY BEING ONLY SKIN DEEP. THAT’S DEEP ENOUGH. WHAT DO YOU WANT,ADORABLE KIDNEYS?

THE GREATEST TRAGEDY OF LIFE IS NOT THAT MEN PERISH,BUT THAT THEY CEASE TO LOVE.

SOME THINGS HAVE TO BE BELIEVED TO BE SEEN.

I WAS BORN IN BED WITH A LADY.

I FIND TV VERY EDUCATING.EVERY TIME SOMEBODY TURNS IT ON, I GO AND READ THE NEWSPAPER.

THOUGHTS FOR EVERYBODY

There are some things so serious you have to laugh at them.

The men who succeed best in public life are those who take the risk of standing by their own convictions.

Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen.

The trouble with being punctual is that nobody’s there to appreciate it.

All my life, I always wanted to be somebody. Now I see that I should have been more specific.

While we are focusing on fear, worry, or hate, it is not possible for us to be experiencing happiness, enthusiasm or love.

Marriage is a great institution, but I’m not ready for an institution yet.

Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind.

QUOTES FOR YOU

The SIX most important words:
“ I ADMIT I MADE A MISTAKE”

The FIVE most important words:
“ YOU DID A GOOD JOB”

The FOUR most important words:
“WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?”

The THREE most important words:
“IF YOU PLEASE.”

The TWO most important words:
“THANK YOU”

The ONE most important word:
“WE”

The LEAST important word:
“ I “

There is no indispensable man/woman.

Listening is an art. Listen with your eyes also.

It is true that we learn by listening, yet we don’t listen.

Delegate but don’t forget.

Condemn action, not people. A projecting nail must be hammered down.

A soft voice is heard long after the shout. Gentleness is stronger than anger.

Never stop listening: Never stop learning: Never stop training.

People don’t waste time. They just spend it on things they don’t need to do.

Do not talk about your health unless it is good.

GOD MY LORD MY LORD

“Lord, reform Thy world, beginning with me.” This is a prayer of a Chinese Christian, which President Roosevelt quoted at a press conference in 1941.

Lord, my Lord, I know. I know that my nature’s transformation is the answer to the world’s transformation.

Lord, my Lord, I know. I know that my heart’s purity and my life’s humility comprise my soul’s magnanimity.

Lord, my Lord, I know. I know that my love of You is my journey. I know that my surrender to You is my Destination.

Lord, my Lord, I know. I know that in my desire-world I am the abyss of nothingness. I know that in my aspiration-world I am the sea of fullness.

Yesterday, my Lord, I came to You proudly and haughtily. Today, my Lord, I have come to You devotedly and unreservedly. Tomorrow, my Lord, I shall come to You soulfully and unconditionally. Lord, my Lord, when I speak to the world about You, it is not my personal opinion. It is the revelation of my sweet oneness relation with You.

Lord, my Lord, do make me see and feel that my heart’s perfection-cry has to be continued and transcended.

Lord, my Lord, do make me see and feel that my life’s satisfaction-smile has to be renewed daily and pursued.

Lord, my Lord "I bow to you with all humility and unconditionally and seek your blessings."

GOD.............................

God, The Author of All Good

Man's eternal question is:"Who is God?"

GOD'S immediate answer is:"My child, who else is God, if not you?"

GITA SAAR

Why do you worry unnecessarily? What are you afraid of? Who can kill destroy you? A soul is never born, so it never dies.

Whatever happened in the past, happened for the best; whatever is happening, is happening for the best; whatever will happen in future, will happen for the best. Do not repent the past, do not worry for future, concentrate on your present.

What did you own, that makes you cry on losing? What did you bring, that you fear losing? What did you give birth to, that you fear its destruction? You didn't bring anything. Whatever one takes, one must return it to God. Everyone came empty handed and will therefore die, empty handed.

Whatever belongs to you today, belonged to someone else yesterday and it will belong to some one else tomorrow. Don't be illusioned by maya. Maya is the root cause of all pain and misery.

Change is the rule of nature. What one understands, as death is actually life itself. One moment you are the owner of crores and in the very next moment you become a pauper.

Your body doesn't belong to you and vice versa. Body is composed of five elements- Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Sky; one day it will perish in these elements.

Offer yourself to the Almighty Lord. This is the best support. One who knows this unconditional support gains freedom from fear, worry and despair.

THINK BIG

Communication is to a relationship what breathing is to living.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

Knowing others is intelligence, knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the
silence of our friends.

It’s a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept anything but the best,
You very often get it.

A ship in harbour is safe but that’s not what ships are built for.

“SHIVO GURUHU SHIVO DEVAHA SHIVO BANDUHU SHRIRANAM !
SHIV ATMA SHIVO JEEVAHA SHIVADANYANN KINCHAN. ”

MEANING:- Lord Shiva Himself is the teacher(Guru), Shiva is the God, Shiva is the father of creatures. Shiva, Himself is Atma(Soul) and Shiva is the Jeeva(Living Creature) Himself and nothing devoid of Shiva. The virtue and benefits achieved as a result of charity, name and religious sacrifices of offered to Shiva, are infinite. This has unequivocally been said in the scriptures. That only tongue(mouth) is pure that has the name of Shiva on its lips, only is chased that is absorbed in contemplation of the different lilas and stories associated with Shiva. That ear only is pure that is eager to listen to the stories of Shiva. Those hands only are clean that worship Lord Shiva regularly. Those eyes only are pure who see the worship or Lord Shiva regularly.

GAYATRI MANTRA - ITS MEANING

AUM BHOOR BHUWAH SWAHA,
TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM
BHARGO DEVASAYA DHEEMAHI
DHIYO YO NAHA PRACHODAYAT.

Summary of the Mantra

Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life, Remover of pain and sorrow, The Bestower of
Happiness,Oh! Creator of the Universe, May we receive thy supreme sin-destroying
Light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction.

Word for Word Meaning of the Mantra

Aum=Brahma; bhoor=embodiment of vital spiritual energy(pran); bhuwah=destroyer
of sufferings; swaha=embodiment of happiness; tat=that; savitur=bright like sun ;
varenyam=best choicest ; bhargo=destroyer of sins; devasya=divine; dheemahi=
may imbibe; dhiyo=intellect; yo=who; naha=our; prachodayat= may inspire;

Meaning of Gayatri Mantra

Rishis selected the words of various Mantras and arranged them so that they not only
Convey meaning but also create specific power through their utterance. Gayatri Mantra
Inspires wisdom. Its meaning is that “May the Almighty God illuminate our intellect to
Lead us along the righteous path”. All the problems of a person are solved if he/she is
Endowed with the gift of righteous wisdom. Once endowed with far sighted wisdom, a
Person is neither entangled in calamity nor does he/she tread the wrong path. A wise
Person finds solution to all outstanding problems. Only those persons who do not think
Correctly find difficulty and take wrong steps due to foolishness. Chanting of Gayatri
Mantra removes the deficiency. The teachings and powers incorporated in the Gayatri
Mantra fulfill this purpose. Righteous wisdom starts emerging soon after Jap(recitation)
Of this Mantra is performed.

AUM…BRAHMA OR THE LORD ALMIGHTY.
TAT…. THAT(AGAIN THE LORD ALMIGHTY..THE ONLY ONE AND ONE.)
SAT…. THE ONLY TRUTH..THE LORD ALMIGHTY.. THE ONLY ONE.

BRAHMA DOES NOT ONLY MEAN BRAHMA, WHEN WE SAY BRAHMA, VISHNU AND MAHESH. BRAHMA IS ACTUALLY ONE NAME FOR THE LORD OF UNIVERSE... THE LORD OF ALL BEINGS.
AUM TAT SAT …..OH! LORD OF THE UNIVERSE WE BOW TO THEE FOR ONLY YOU ARE THE TRUTH AND THE ONLY ONE.
